Saying that here is the letter, the indefatigable wanderer, that now knows the way from Hamburg to Budapest better than he, that he naturally no longer knows its contents, which have perhaps already become an anachronism, apologizing for its impersonality, explaining that when he wrote it he had not yet met her, reporting on the reception of his newest works, mentioning his sister, etc.
